Tarot & Romance Workshop - 02/11

Join us for an evening of tarot with Rusa Harju in Vintage Trixie's Odditorium on February 11, 2026 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm! Rusa has been reading and teaching the art of tarot for over 40 years! The most frequently asked questions in a tarot reading are about love, romance, and relationships. In this workshop, participants will learn two different tarot spreads. Participants will practice a six card "Finding a Partner" spread and "Heart and Head" spread to explore a current or past relationship. Learn to choose and charge/program crystals for romance and/or self love. Then, put together a simple grid to manifest your relationship intentions. Lastly, the class will do a guided meditation to clear and open the heart chakra. In this workshop, the Universal Waite deck will be used. It is not necessary to purchase a deck for the workshop but feel free to bring one if you have one! Cost is $40 per person. 

Taxidermy 101 - 03/01

Trixie will be using her expertise to teach a class on the basics of museum preparation techniques and taxidermy. The class will focus on the preparation of a rodent study skin - the most common way that species reference specimens are preserved for future use. Learn the basics of taxidermy, museum preparation of a study skin mount, and the basics of taxonomy and naming of species. Each participant will prepare their own mount that is theirs to keep. All materials needed for the class will be included in the class registration fee of $150 + credit card processing fee . Class participants must be over 18 years of age. Class size is limited to 12.
Registration can also be done in person at our shop, located at 112 Wayne Avenue in Chesapeake, VA. Registrations are not transferrable. NO WALK-INS!

Burlesque Revue: Velvet Vices - 02/27

The latest production in Vintage Trixie's Burlesque Revue, Velvet Vices, will be held on February 27, 2026 at 7pm on stage in Vintage Trixie's Odditorium and hosted by Rob Floyd and music by Bearcub Belladonna! Enjoy some cheese! Only $25 to attend! Must be 18 to attend!

Spooky Miniature Class - 03/26

Create your very own miniature magical side table under the guidance of Trixie. Each participant will paint their table and give it a coat of varnish. Then using Trixie's stash of mini and craft stuff - decorate the tabletop and drawer contents (minis may vary for each student - but there are some many to choose from)! Class size is limited - Cost is $35 per person. Sorry no walk-ins allowed for this class
