Natural Magnet Magick - 10/15

Count Me In!

Magnets have been used as magical (and mundane) tools throughout human history. Learn to use both natural and manmade magnets to attract money, love, and luck into your life. Instruction will include, history and varieties of magnet magic, choosing a lodestone/magnet, setting intentions, charging and care of lodestone, and using lodestones/magnets to charge magical items. Supplies provided! $35 per person

Insect Pinning 101 - 10/29

The class will give the participant all the basics to prepare butterfly specimens for mounting. Topics will include butterfly anatomy, specimen sourcing, tools, rehydration, pinning, and display techniques. Each participant receive two rehydrated specimens to spread, pins, tweezers and one shadow box for display. Cost is $60 per person.

Phantom Follies - 11/14

Do you love vintage and burlesque? If so, we have the perfect event for you! The first show in Vintage Trixie's Burlesque Review, Phantom Follies, will be held on November 14, 2025 at 7pm on stage in Vintage Trixie's Odditorium and hosted by Rob Floyd. Enjoy some cheese and a cash bar! Only $25 to attend!



We are seeking performers to participate with 2 performances! Each performer will be paid $50 and will receive an equal share of the total tips. The theme is vintage spooky. If interested, please apply and join in on the fun! Applications can be found here:

Taxidermy 101 - 11/16

Trixie will be using her expertise to teach a class on the basics of museum preparation techniques and taxidermy. The class will focus on the preparation of a rodent study skin - the most common way that species reference specimens are preserved for future use. Learn the basics of taxidermy, museum preparation of a study skin mount, and the basics of taxonomy and naming of species. Each participant will prepare their own mount that is theirs to keep. All materials needed for the class will be included in the class registration fee of $150 + credit card processing fee . Class participants must be over 18 years of age. Class size is limited to 12.
Registration can also be done in person at our shop, located at 112 Wayne Avenue in Chesapeake, VA. Registrations are not transferrable. NO WALK-INS!
